Angrenny Plays Big Role in Barton Springs Win
Sixshooters Stadium was the site of a true pitchers' duel.

Right-hander Julius Angrenny mesmerized the Westwood Sixshooters while leading the Barton Springs Blues to a 2-0 victory. The Blues go to 53-40, putting them 5th in the Menard's AA.

Angrenny, who has sometimes raised the ire of coaches and teammates with his famously lackadaisical work ethic, turned in a spirited effort. The hurler struck out 7 in 8 innings and gave up no runs.

Angrenny, who leads the 3AA with a 0.89 WHIP, moves to 10-2 on the year with 85 strikeouts.

"We didn't score," said losing manager Héctor Montoya. "That was the problem."
