Despite a great performance by Toledo first baseman Vincente Valentín, the Northville Eclipse defeated the Saboteurs by the score of 6-5 at Old-Timers Park. Valentín hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. The winner in relief was David Hayes. The right-hander allowed no runs on 2 hits in 1.2 innings. He now owns a record of 5-0. With the win, the Eclipse improved to 63-30.

A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth, an error by the Saboteurs allowed the Eclipse to score the winning run.
