Ottawa Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
Scott Miller had a good game, but he could not keep the Richland Rails from falling, 7-6, to the Ottawa Fat Cats at Nationals Park. The Richland second baseman went 2 for 3 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3 in the loss. The win puts Ottawa at 50-38 this season.

Brandon Smith was the walk-off hero for Ottawa. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Fat Cats catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring double to send the teams home.

"We'll hit the hot tub in good spirits tonight," said Smith.
