Sixshooters Curb Javelina, 4-2

The Westwood Sixshooters picked up a win at Javelina Ballpark, knocking off the Arizona Javelina, 4-2. Starting pitcher Juan De La Garza was a big reason why. Dave Carroll earned the save for Westwood, his 6th. Arizona has now lost 5 in a row.
Westwood used the bat of Jeremy Blanchard to capture the win. The right fielder jacked a grand slam home run in the top of the fourth inning to put the Sixshooters ahead, 4-1. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a dandy.
"I've been criticized for being a slacker, but the one thing I do care about is winning," De La Garza told the Westwood Chronicle.
