Westwood Beats Northville in Extra Innings
The Westwood Sixshooters wiggled past the Northville Eclipse, 4-3, at Sixshooters Stadium. The win was highlighted by the performance of Westwood pitcher Vince Barnard. Westwood reliever Rex Austin was the winner. His record is now 1-0. The losing pitcher was Edmund Barnett. Westwood is now 41-32, while Northville is 49-24.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Westwood designated hitter Quincy Wright, facing Edmund Barnett, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Sixshooters the 4-3 win.

"Exciting game to play in," said Barnard. "Getting the win makes it even better."
