Fur Traders Win at Lake Murray, 2-1
|
Heron Field was the site of a competitive game between the Lake Murray MotorBoaters and Tacoma Fur Traders.
The Tacoma Fur Traders got a magnificent effort from pitcher Eduardo Soto, who kept Lake Murray hitters in check en route to a 2-1 Fur Traders win at Heron Field. Daniel Goodhew nailed down his 10th save.
Joe Arthur, the 24-year old third baseman , had a direct impact on the outcome. Arthur contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the sixth inning to put Tacoma up, 2-1.
"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Soto said.
Tacoma is now 29-42, Lake Murray 36-35.
