The Tacoma Fur Traders topped the Westwood Sixshooters, 9-4, with third baseman Joe Arthur playing a big role. Arthur was 2-4 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once for the Fur Traders in the win. The Fur Traders raised their record to 27-40.

Arthur had a key at-bat for Tacoma early in the game. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and gave Tacoma an early 4-0 lead.

"It was a solid team effort," said Arthur after the game.
