The home crowd had a good time watching the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis and Casper Ghosts get after it.

Casper Ghosts pitcher Myles Jones was in fine form, leading his team past the Nuevo Mexico Mariachis, 3-0. Corbin Dundee nailed down his 15th save.

Jones, who has sometimes raised the ire of coaches and teammates with his famously lackadaisical work ethic, turned in a spirited effort. The hurler struck out 6 in 8 innings and gave up no runs.

Jones, who is tied for 9th in the 3AA with a 2.79 ERA, moves to 6-2 on the year with 80 strikeouts.

In comments to the Casper News, Jones admitted he's been told to improve his work habits. "But," he said, "I know when to take it to another gear."

Casper is third in the Menard's AA with a record of 37-27.
