The Richland Rails and Nuevo Mexico Mariachis were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd.
The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis downed the Richland Rails, 6-1, at Rails Ballpark. The Mariachis were led by Monty Crawford. He was 1-3 with a home run and 2 walks, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3. The 6th-place Mariachis have won 4 straight.
The game hit a turning point in the top of the third inning, when the Mariachis were trailing 1-0. Nick Allen delivered a two-out 2-run single for Nuevo Mexico, catapulting his team into the lead.
