Late Rally by Fur Traders Locks Up 6-4 Win

The Tacoma Fur Traders dealt the Richland Rails a 6-4 loss at Ballpark of Tacoma. Eugene LeBlanc was the star on offense. He went 2 for 4 with a home run, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. Tacoma pitcher Richard Pagnal got the win. He's now 2-0. Grady Booth was tagged with the loss. The Fur Traders now have a record of 13-34.
A defensive lapse proved costly in the contest. In the bottom of the eighth, with the game tied, Dave Wilson was at the plate when Tacoma scored 1 on an error. The miscue enabled the Fur Traders to go in front, 5-4.
"Being able to contribute to a win is always a great feeling," LeBlanc told the Tacoma Times.
