The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis beat the Casper Ghosts, 4-0, at Mariachi Band Shell. Starting pitcher Eric Riley was a big reason why. He held his opponent in check all game. The win makes Nuevo Mexico 23-23.

The outcome was still in doubt with two out in the top of the third inning, but Riley was able to pitch out of a jam. With runners on 1st and 3rd and Casper trailing 1-0, Riley retired Héctor Chávez, who struck out.
