Blues Topple Rails with Late Rally

The Richland Rails got a superb performance from pitcher Chang-ho Kim. Still, it wasn't enough to beat Barton Springs. The Blues won the game, 5-4. Kim threw 5.0 innings of 3-hit ball. After today's action, Barton Springs sits at 22-16; Richland slips to 16-22.
Barton Springs used the timely hitting of Francisco Aguilar to seize the win. The second baseman stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Blues on top, 5-4. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.
"We're obviously playing with a lot of confidence," said Barton Springs manager Joe Kehoe.
