Blues Take Down MotorBoaters, 3-2

Fans saw a dandy of a game between the Barton Springs Blues and Lake Murray MotorBoaters.
Barton Springs Blues starter Quinton Lee was dealing. He helped his team knock off the Lake Murray MotorBoaters, 3-2. Barton Springs reliever José Vargas picked up the win, upping his record to 1-1. Dave Coffield absorbed the loss.
Barton Springs took a 3-2 lead on Gonzalo Ordóñez's 1st double of the season. The run-scoring double, which Ordóñez hit in the bottom of the eighth, left Lake Murray pitcher Dave Coffield visibly frustrated.
"Some of the guys in here work hard, some of the guys just kind of fall out of bed and get it done. Whatever works I guess, we won this one," Lee told the Barton Springs Times.
Barton Springs is now riding a 3-game win streak.
