Mariachis Best Rails, 3-0
|
The Nuevo Mexico Mariachis got a magnificent performance from pitcher José Mercado, who muffled the Richland offense en route to a tight 3-0 Mariachis win at Mariachi Band Shell. Nuevo Mexico is now 14-17.
Nuevo Mexico took a 3-0 lead on Jorge Salazar's 1st home run of the season. The 2-run home run came off Richland pitcher Elroy Mastenbroek in the bottom of the seventh.
"Not too many highlights on our side," said losing manager Tom Carlson.
