Northville Wins, Willis goes 3-for-3
|
Northville right fielder Scott Willis played a vital role in his team's 7-3 triumph over Arizona. He went 3-3 with a triple, 2 doubles, and a walk, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 3 for Northville. Martín Hernández picked up the win, improving his season record to 4-0. He struck out 4 in 6.2 innings. The Eclipse, at 21-10, lead by one game in their division.
Early in the game, Willis had a 2-run triple for Northville. It was his 1st triple of the season and put the Eclipse on top, 2-0.
