The Barton Springs Blues defeated the Westwood Sixshooters, 2-1, in M3L Double A action at Blues Field. Barton Springs pitcher Julius Angrenny had a standout performance. Picking up the save was José Vargas, his 1st. Barton Springs is now 15-12, Westwood 15-12.

Angrenny, the winner, is now 4-0. In 7 innings of work, he gave up no runs on 2 hits, while collecting 5 Ks. He essentially shut down the Westwood offense.

In comments to the Barton Springs Times, Angrenny admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
