Westwood Sixshooters starter Mike White hurled his team past the Lancaster Farmers, 5-2. The Sixshooters, now 12-4, have been sizzling early on.

The Farmers had been locked in a 0-0 tie with the Sixshooters going into the bottom of the second inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old catcher Larry Harris came to the plate. Harris hit a 2-run home run on a first pitch slider from Lancaster hurler Jeff MacNiven. It was Harris's 3rd home run of the year.

In comments to the Westwood Chronicle, White admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
