Northern Lions BC Come Back Late, Nip Flamingos
|
The Thunder Bay Northern Lions BC defeated the Las Vegas Flamingos, 4-3, at The Strip. Thunder Bay right fielder Andy Gould had a superb performance. He was 1-2 with a double and 2 walks, while scoring 2. Dan Taylor was credited with the save. He has now successfully converted 10 of 14 save opportunities. The Northern Lions BC' win now puts them at 46-62.
Bob Hawkins made it 4-3 in favor of Thunder Bay when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with one out in the top of the eighth. The Northern Lions BC went on to win.
"We can always improve and get better, but we're feeling confident after that win," said Hawkins.
