4-3 Leviathan Win over Condor Evens Season Record
|
Both teams had their opportunities, but in the end, the Nova Scotia Leviathan got the win.
Nova Scotia starter Ben Frazier pitched well against the Santa Catalina Condor at Condor Nest. The left-hander led his team to a win, 4-3. Picking up the save was Jorge Valdéz, his 25th.
Nova Scotia needed the clutch hitting of Taroemon Nishii to notch the win. The left fielder hammered a 2-run home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Leviathan on top, 2-1. For the game, Nishii had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.
"We cashed in when we had the chance," said Nova Scotia manager Tyler Studebaker.
The 4th-place Leviathan sport a record of 47-47.
