Dalton Magic in 3-0 Shutout
|
In an outstanding mound performance, Las Vegas Flamingos starter Troy Dalton fired a complete-game shutout against the Nova Scotia Leviathan at The Strip today.
Dalton was the key to the Flamingos's 3-0 win. The 27-year-old right-hander was in high spirits on the mount for much of the game, his mood largely undented by the 1 hit and 1 walk he allowed.
"1 hit?" he said with a laugh following the game. "Listen, I'd be happy with a 30-hitter as long as it was a shutout."
On the season Dalton has 5 wins and 8 losses and a 3.25 ERA.
