Condor Lose to Coeur in Walk Off
|
St. Louis Coeur starter George Law was in a groove as he led his team to a win over the Santa Catalina Condor, 4-2. St. Louis reliever Mal Edwards was the winner. His record is now 4-1. The losing pitcher was Javier Montés. With the win, St. Louis upped its record to 41-26.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with St. Louis trailing 2-0, Ozzie Canales-Lister hit a fastball from Javier Montés for a grand slam home run, giving the Coeur the walk-off win.
"This joint was rocking," said Law.
