Divided Rally For 4-2 Win
|
The Divided grabbed a win, 4-2, at Washington Stadium, overcoming a fine effort from Echo Park pitcher Mitch Ivey. Ivey went 6.2 innings and allowed 2 runs. D.C. reliever Augusto Rey picked up the win, upping his record to 3-1. Curt Stokes was saddled with the loss. David Guzmán converted his 10th save in 11 tries.
Marvello Millon tagged a home run off Curt Stokes in the bottom of the eighth. His 2-run blast put the Divided on top, 4-2. In all, Millon had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
"The hot tub feels extra good after a solid win," said Millon.
With the win, D.C. has a record of 26-30. Echo Park falls to 26-30.
