Fulton Delivers Walk-Off Win for Bowties
|
José Ramos never let the Northern Lions BC get in a groove. The right-hander used his bread and butter, his fastball, to pitch the Bowties to a win, 2-1. Luis Rodríguez, now 2-0, picked up the win in relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit in 1.1 innings. The win has Buckhead at 18-31.
Tony Fulton was the walk-off hero for Buckhead. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Bowties right fielder hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.
"If you ever get this game figured out," said Thunder Bay manager Scott Williams, "let me know."
