The Las Vegas Flamingos defeated the Nova Scotia Leviathan, 5-2, in Menard's Third League action at The Dungeon in Halifax. Las Vegas pitcher Troy Dalton had a standout performance. Las Vegas now owns a record of 15-30.

Las Vegas used the timely hitting of Chiel Spronck to seize the win. The left fielder stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Flamingos on top, 3-1. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Spronck told the Las Vegas Daily News.
