Pride Beat Pennsauken, 4-3
|
The Hartford Pride picked up a win at Pride Park, taking down the Pennsauken Flyers, 4-3. Starting pitcher Mark Hogan was a big reason why. The loss makes Pennsauken 41-56.
William Shepard was the walk-off hero for Hartford. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pride first baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
Shepard called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
