The Calgary Lynx had to overcome a good performance from Syracuse pitcher Hunter Kirkland to claim a 2-1 win at Lynx Stadium. Kirkland went 7.1 innings and allowed 1 run. Calgary now sits at 47-33, while Syracuse falls to 53-27.

Martin Mullinger was the walk-off hero for Calgary. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Lynx first baseman hit a dramatic solo home run to send the teams home.

Mullinger said the team appreciates the support from the fans. "I'm glad we could reward them with a good win," he said after the game.
