Khoo Slugs Fog to 4-3 Win
|
The Sunset District Fog relied on the hitting of designated hitter Guan-cai Khoo to stop the Pennsauken Flyers, 4-3. For the game, Khoo belted 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Sunset District reliever Jimmy DeCourey picked up the win, upping his record to 5-0. King Nelson absorbed the loss. The Flyers, at 34-45, have lost 5 straight games.
In the bottom of the eighth, Khoo put his team in front with his 5th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which came against King Nelson, made it 4-2, Sunset District.
Khoo called the win the result of "everyone working in tandem."
