In a tight game between the Sacramento Redlegs and the Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys, pitcher Seung-gwan Kim was terrific on the mound. The Sacramento left-hander helped his team to the 3-1 win. At 35-22, the Redlegs claim third place in the Silver AAA.
An impactful at-bat came in the bottom of the third inning. With the bases loaded, the batter, Jody Anderson, reached on an error by the 3B, driving in 1 run. It made the score 1-0, Sacramento, and helped them go on to win.
In postgame comments to the Sacramento Citizen, Anderson said, "If the effort is there, the wins will come."
