Lynx Knock Off Pajaritos at Lynx Stadium

Lynx Stadium was the site for USSL Triple A action featuring the Norfolk Pajaritos and Calgary Lynx.
Calgary rode a good effort from starter Alberto Nieves to beat the Norfolk Pajaritos at Lynx Stadium. The final score was 5-1. The winning pitcher was Nieves, now 4-2. He tossed 6.2 innings of 3-hit ball, while walking 2 and fanning 7.
The Lynx got a big at-bat from right fielder Sonny Day. For the game, Day went 2 for 4 with 2 triples. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the first, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 8th triple of the season gave Calgary a 2-0 lead.
"Everyone's trying too hard," said losing manager Phil Baker. "If we learn to relax, we'll be fine."
