Syracuse Beats Ellenburg in Extra Innings
The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys outlasted the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds in an extra-inning thriller.

The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys wiggled past the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds, 4-3, at Dog Park in Ellenburg. The win was highlighted by the performance of Syracuse pitcher Korbin Dallas. Syracuse leads the Silver AAA by 2 games.

Dallas, who was born in Guatajiagua, El Salvador, threw 116 pitches over 7.2 innings, while allowing 1 run.

"Both teams played hard," said Syracuse manager Scott Garrison.
