The Syracuse Squirrel Monkeys topped the Calgary Lynx, 6-3, in USSL Triple A action at The Zoo in Syracuse. The standout performance belonged to Syracuse pitcher and Ft. Worth, Texas, native Jeff Morehead. Syracuse leads the Silver AAA by 2 games.

Syracuse won the game in the bottom of the tenth inning. With one out and Micheal Bly on the mound for Calgary, left fielder Martín Pliego hit a dramatic 3-run home run, bringing Squirrel Monkeys fans to their feet.

"I'm glad I could get it done when the game was in the balance," Morehead said in his postgame press conference.
