Fighting Dachshunds Go Down to Defeat, 6-0
|
Daniel Keys was a major factor in the 6-0 Pennsauken win over Ellenburg. The Flyers center fielder was 3-3 with a home run, a triple, and a walk, while scoring 2 times. Pennsauken now has a 5-game win streak.
The Flyers grabbed the lead in the bottom of the fifth. With one out, Yoshikazu Hashimoto hit a 2-run home run off Félix Montáñez, putting Pennsauken in front, 3-0. For Hashimoto, it was his 2nd home run of the season.
Hashimoto called the win "a team effort."
