Ellenburg took on Calgary in front of a lively crowd.

In a well-pitched game between the Ellenburg Fighting Dachshunds and the Calgary Lynx, pitcher Thomas Canó was superb. The Ellenburg left-hander helped his team win, 3-0. Ambrosi Pigafetta earned the save for Ellenburg, his 6th of the year.

Canó gave Ellenburg a solid start. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit over 8 innings.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Canó said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The triumph makes Ellenburg 11-27.
