Drummers Lose to Lynx in Walk Off
|
In the 6-5 Calgary win over Tortolita, the impact of Claude Berry was substantial. Berry, who is tied for 5th in the SAAA in stolen bases with 4, was 3-5 with a home run and a double, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Calgary is now 13-12, while Tortolita is 16-9.
The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Calgary trailing 5-2, Berry hit a fastball from Michael Pace for a grand slam home run, giving the Lynx the walk-off win.
"Claude is still learning," said Lynx manager Steve Duncan. "The sky's the limit for him."
