Ellenburg pitcher Marlon Harris gave the Pajaritos all they could handle, but in the end, Norfolk left Dog Park in Ellenburg with a win, 2-1. Harris allowed 2 runs on 3 hits over 6.2 innings. Reliever Chris Small picked up the win. His record improves to 2-0. Marlon Harris took the loss. The Pajaritos improved to 10-13.
In the top of the eighth inning, Keith Atkins went deep for the Pajaritos. With Norfolk trailing 1-0, he drilled a solo home run.
"We were in it," said Ellenburg manager Marvin Hayes. "We just didn't score enough runs."
