Tortolita starter Denzel Halford kept the Ellenburg hitters in check, helping his team cruise to a win, 9-2. With the win, Tortolita boosts its record to 13-7.

The Drummers got an important contribution from left fielder Omar Luoa, who in the bottom of the third knocked a full count cutter into left-center for a run-scoring double. It was his 4th double of the season and put the Drummers ahead, 2-0.

"Ah, the sweet taste of victory," Luoa crowed after the game.
