Pride Drop Flyers, 4-1
|
The Hartford Pride got a stellar performance from pitcher José Rivera, who handcuffed the Pennsauken offense en route to a win, 4-1, at Pride Park. With the win, Hartford lifts its record to 3-7.
Elvin Cook dealt the Flyers a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with runners on 1st and 2nd and Hartford leading 2-1, Cook hit a 1-1 fastball for a 2-run double.
"Win or lose, we pick each other up in this clubhouse," Cook told the Hartford News.
