Baton Rouge starter Juan González had a strong outing against the Syracuse Starks at Brass Field. The left-hander was a big part of his team's 4-3 win. In 6.1 innings, González surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 9 and walking 1. He allowed 3 runs. Ron Ward earned the save for Baton Rouge, his 7th of the year.
