Hyeong-ro Yi pitched a gem in leading Monongahela to a 1-0 victory over the Alaskan Humpbacks. Tetsu Gato earned the save, his 11th, for the Monsters. Monongahela is third in the Premier AAA with a record of 50-39.

Yi, who dominated for Monongahela, earned the victory to move to 5-3. He was in control the whole game, scattering 1 hit over 8 innings, while striking out 3. Alaskan batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
