Red Pandas Handle Monsters, 9-1
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas topped the Monongahela Monsters, 9-1, in USPL Triple A action at The Bamboo Forest. The standout performance belonged to Sioux Falls pitcher and Rodas, Cuba, native Salvador Heredia. Heredia, the winner, moves to 8-4. He threw 8 innings of 4-hit ball, while fanning 3 and giving up 2 walks. The second-place Red Pandas improved to 51-36.

Rich Dalzell had a big hit for Sioux Falls in the bottom of the fourth inning. With Sioux Falls leading 4-1, Dalzell hit a bases-clearing triple. It was his 4th triple of the season and put the Red Pandas up, 7-1.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Sioux Falls manager Fred Leos.
