Starting pitcher Santiago Proximo pitched well enough to help the Baton Rouge Brass beat the Athletic Club KC Reserves, 6-5. Proximo picked up the win for Baton Rouge, going 6 innings. He gave up 5 runs on 4 hits. He now sports a record of 3-4. Ron Ward was called on to finish, recording his 5th save.
