Red Pandas Reel Off Another Win
Sioux Falls picked up a win at Dodos Ballpark, toppling the Hialeah Dodos, 4-2. Pitcher Robert Shirt was one of the reasons the Red Pandas triumphed. In 6 innings, Shirt surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 1. He allowed no runs. Rodney Johnson picked up the save, his 11th.

Michizane Yamashita took Ricardo Corona deep in the top of the first. His 2-run home run put the Red Pandas on top, 2-0. In all, Yamashita had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 3.
