Sioux Falls pitcher Salvador Heredia did his part in helping his team beat the Syracuse Starks, 3-0. The left-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. Rodney Johnson earned the save for Sioux Falls, his 9th. This win makes it 6 in a row for Sioux Falls.

Sioux Falls grabbed control in the bottom of the sixth. With one out and a runner on 1st, Sayed Walid delivered a run-scoring double, to make it 1-0 in favor of the Red Pandas.
