The Alaskan Humpbacks defeated the Syracuse Starks, 7-3, in USPL Triple A action at Sea World. Alaskan pitcher José Franco had a standout performance. In 5.1 innings, Franco surrendered 5 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 1. He allowed 3 runs.

John Simpson had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the third for Alaskan. With the bases loaded and the Humpbacks leading 1-0, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.
