In the 7-1 Sioux Falls win over Kansas, the impact of Xiao-gang Qing was substantial. Qing was 2 for 3 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The Red Pandas, at 30-29, sit in 6th place in the Premier AAA.
With Sioux Falls leading 1-0 in the top of the second, Qing hit a fastball from Craig Quinn for a 3-run home run. It was his 8th home run of the season and put the Red Pandas ahead, 4-0.
"Some wins are easy and some are difficult, but either way we come to the ballpark ready to work hard every day," Qing told the Sioux Falls Times.
