Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Dodos
|
Milton wasted an exceptional performance by pitcher Henry Tucker, falling to the Hialeah Dodos, 5-3. Tucker threw 7.0 innings of 4-hit ball for the losing team. Yu-eh Wang finished to wrap up his 6th save. Hialeah is in 7th place in the Premier AAA with a record of 27-29.
Hialeah used the clutch hitting of Damon Joseph to capture the win. The left fielder drilled a 3-run home run in the top of the ninth inning to put the Dodos ahead, 5-3. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a big one.
"We'll put this win in our pocket and go after the next one," said Joseph.
