Clutch Hitting Delivers Win for Rainbeaus
Kansas and Syracuse duked it out and the Rainbeaus came out victorious.

A good performance from right fielder Senzo Matsuura helped the Kansas Rainbeaus defeat the Syracuse Starks, 7-5. Matsuura was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles. He scored 2 runs for the Rainbeaus. Alberto Ramos earned the save for Kansas, his 14th of the year.

The most important at-bat for Kansas came in the top of the ninth inning. With one out, Michael Nash reached on an error by the P, driving in 1 run, putting Kansas up, 6-5.

"We put it together today and came out with the win," Matsuura said in postgame remarks. "That's the main thing."

The 9th-place Rainbeaus improved to 23-32.
