6-5 Loss to Men Extends Hamilton Losing Streak
The Florida Men and Hamilton Thunderbirds obliged fans hoping for an exciting game.

The Florida Men defeated the Hamilton Thunderbirds, 6-5, at Psychos Ballpark today. Leading the charge for Florida was designated hitter Marcus Simmons. He belted 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. Tom Hancock got credit for the win, improving to 10-4. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 3 innings.

The Thunderbirds had been locked in a 1-1 tie with the Men going into the bottom of the fourth inning. That changed quickly when the 24-year old right fielder Shu-yaan Hor came to the plate. Hor hit a 2-run home run on a 1-2 curveball from Hamilton hurler Raúl Martínez. It was Hor's 13th home run of the year.

"I'm not out here to win a beauty contest," said Simmons. "Obviously."

Hamilton has now lost 11 in a row.
