Starks Lose Again, 6-4, to Brass
The Baton Rouge Brass picked up a win at Brass Field, taking down the Syracuse Starks, 6-4. Starting pitcher Santiago Proximo was a big reason why. Syracuse is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.

In the bottom of the seventh, Baton Rouge center fielder Pancho Cháves gave his team the lead. With two out and runners on 1st and 2nd, Bad Company hit his 10th double of the year. Syracuse pitcher Steve Ward surrendered it. With that, the Brass jumped in front, 5-4.

"Our goal is to improve each and every day," Proximo told the Baton Rouge Daily.
