Red Pandas Get Past Baton Rouge for 3-2 Win
The Sioux Falls Red Pandas faced a tough opponent in Baton Rouge pitcher Santiago Proximo, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Brass Field by a final score of 3-2. Proximo went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. With the win, Sioux Falls raised its record to 22-21.

Sioux Falls used the timely hitting of Jae-woo Yi to seize the win. The designated hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Red Pandas on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We had the game right there for the taking," said Baton Rouge manager Daniel Edwards. "But we decided not to take it."
